Found by Rabbit
Is one of these yours?
Rabbit posts things people have built out on the web, and collects them here. If you made one of them, you can take it over. It becomes your Bit, on your profile.
What you get
- The Bit moves to your account and off Rabbit's
- Every like, comment, save and share it picked up here comes with it. It is the same Bit, now yours
- The OC mark, which says the code behind it is yours
- You can rename it, change the poster and the words, or delete it
How you prove it's yours
Only someone who can change a page can put a hidden tag in it. So that is the test, and it is the same one every creator on Rabbit uses for a link they own.
Your tag is made from your account, so sign in to see it. It is also how Rabbit knows whose profile the Bit should land on
- It goes inside
<head> - It has to be a real
<meta>tag in the HTML your server sends, not words on the page - JavaScript cannot add it. Rabbit reads your page without running any scripts
- One tag covers your whole site, so you do this once however many of your things turn up here
Once the tag is live, open your Bit and press Claim it.
Want it taken down instead?
Then it comes down. Email hello@tryrabbit.co with the address of your page, from an address at that domain or from anywhere you can show it is yours. You do not have to say why, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
- The Bit is deleted, with the likes and comments it collected here
- Rabbit will not post that page again
- You need no account
Where Rabbit found a page, it only ever links to it. It is never copied, and it runs on your own site exactly as it always did
